Artist's Statement
I have spent my life exploring and creating art for the love of it. I have never tired from the excitement of learning and experimenting with a wide range of media. The accidents that would happen while making art gave me licence to take greater risks and discover new paths for my creativity. I am still exploring and developing my own unique voice.

Landscape Painting
The Canadian wilderness landscape has had a tremendous impact on my life. My formative years were influenced by the twelve summers I spent living in and exploring Algonquin Park.
Painting the Figure
My figurative work is based on real people that I have known or life drawings I have done. My own photography of people is also used as reference at times.
Abstract Painting
Experiments with colour, texture and visual juxtapositions create challenges to my artistic sensibilities .
